I specialize in creating innovative music education apps. With over 15 years of experience in iOS development, I’ve dedicated my career to crafting apps that exceed user expectations. As a seasoned engineer and leader, I bring both technical expertise and a passion for innovation to every project.
Currently, I'm fully focused on Drumr, the culmination of everything I've learned about developing audio and MIDI drum education apps over the past couple years. While I am not taking on new client work, I remain committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in music education technology.
Take your drumming skills to new heights with Drumr. Snare Essentials was a dedicated companion app for mastering marching snare drum exercises, based on Geoff Fry's renowned course. The app featured over 60 meticulously performed exercises, authentic drum sounds, and a dynamic metronome for precision practice sessions. Many of its core features have been incorporated into Drumr.
The Rudimental Mastery System featured over 600 rudimental variations based on Geoff Fry's acclaimed book Freestyle Rudiments: A System for Rudimental Mastery. RMS provided comprehensive practice tools including a note cursor, customizable metronome, realistic drum sounds, five dynamic practice modes, and progress tracking with iCloud syncing across devices.
Rudimentia was an interactive app based on Ryan Alexander Bloom's book, Encyclopedia Rudimentia. It featured PAS rudiments and a growing collection of hybrid rudiments, with five practice modes, authentic drum sounds, a dynamic metronome, and integrated progress tracking.
Rudiments 101 was where my journey into drum education apps truly began, building on earlier work with UpDownMetronome. This interactive guide featured all 40 PAS rudiments, five practice modes, authentic drum sounds, progress tracking, and cross-device syncing. It established the foundation for everything that followed, ultimately culminating in Drumr.
